About This Event

Join us for Community Coffee, an informal opportunity for the public to meet the current Artists-in-Residence at the Center and learn more about their work. All are welcome! This event will take place in the studio building; coffee and refreshments will be served.

Please note masks may be required in some studios.

Meet the Participants

Vee Adams sits in a wooden chair with their hands resting in their lap, and smiles warmly towards us. Big Queen Kelly Pearson Boles is a Black Native American Creet woman. She smiles out from under a headpiece that almost completely encircles her face. It is completely beaded with purple, pale blue, white, brown, and pale yellow rhinestones and beads. Fuschia-pink feathers line the head piece and the chest piece on her torso.

Ana María Agüero Johannes is a Black Hispanic artist with shoulder-length, curly black hair. They wear a wide, beaded choker and an umber-brown blouse, and they look out and smile at us against a canary-yellow background.
