About Hakeem Olayinka

Hakeem Olayinka is Nigerian-American painter and sculptor born in Washington, DC. Hakeem began his art education at Duke Ellington School of the Arts in 2011. In 2019, he received his BFA in Painting & Drawing from SUNY Purchase's School of Art & Design. Hakeem has been in many group exhibitions throughout New York's metropolitan area, including a museum exhibition at the Sugar Hill Children's Museum in Harlem. He has also shown at Utah Museum of Contemporary Art. He now works and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
