About Hakeem Olayinka

Hakeem Olayinka is a Nigerian-American painter and sculptor born in Washington, DC. Hakeem began his art education at the Duke Ellington School of Art in 2011. In 2019, he received his BFA in Painting and Drawing from SUNY Purchase School of Art and Design. Hakeem has participated in many group exhibitions throughout the New York metropolitan area, including an exhibition at Sugar Hill Children's Museum in Harlem. He has also exhibited at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art. He currently works and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
