My painting installations and videos are considerations of the body in relation to everyday objects. Images of chairs, dining tables, pillows, workers’ stools, unstable arrangements, and inky gestures become stand-ins for the body’s psychological and social presence. My practice is improvisational, searching for linkages that ask questions about a world that is both intimate and globally interconnected."”
