Kaira stands on a rooftop garden in NYC smiling warmly. She has long black hair, a medium skin tone, and wears a ruffled black shirt with a gold necklace.

As a Research Associate for the Legacy team, Kaira contributes to the research efforts of the Foundation by supporting our work with scholars and museums, assisting with ongoing documentation and image needs, and conducting research related to internal initiatives.

Before joining the Foundation, Kaira worked as a Cataloguer in the Modern and Contemporary Department at Phillips for almost 3 years. She received her master's degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art where she wrote her dissertation on artist Belkis Ayón. She holds a BA in Art History and Asian Studies from Williams College. She has also worked as a Gallery Assistant and Assistant to a Senior Director at David Zwirner, and held curatorial internships at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Clark Art Institute, and The Drawing Center.
