We sat down in April with Painters & Sculptors Grant recipient Travis Somerville during his residency at the Joan Mitchell Center to learn more about his work and the impact the Foundation has had on his career. You can see work from his residency in two exhibitions in the Bay Area this summer: Trump Card​​​ at Transmission Gallery (through July 21) and Paper Cuts at the Palo Alto Art Center (through August 26).
