Early Art Practitioners Council Open Studio in NYC, June 22

Please join us on Saturday, June 22, 3-6pm, for an Open Studio event at the Joan Mitchell Foundation in New York, featuring work by four artists participating in the 2019 Early Art Practitioners (EAP) Council, a peer-learning experience centered on professional and creative development. The current Artists-In-Residence are: Nicole Adames, Jah’china De Leon, Mahnoor Sheikh, and Audreamia Wardlow. EAP Council participants who will also be in attendance are: Albany Andaluz, Lily Fei, Alannah Sears, Duneska Suannette, and Gabrielle Vazquez.

The Foundation's EAP Council is a pilot program for artists under the age of 26 who are active in their studio practice and seeking a network of peers, critical engagement, and guidance in navigating the field. More information about the artists and programs here.
