From April 7 to May 30, 2025, the Joan Mitchell Center will accept applications from eligible visual artists for residencies in 2026. To be eligible to apply, artists must either be based in or native to New Orleans, or be a former grant recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation based anywhere in the United States. We invite eligible artists to join us for a campus tour to see the studios and residences and learn more about the 2026 residencies. Campus tours will be approximately an hour long, held at 11am and 3pm each day.
