About Ellen Bull

Ellen Bull smiles slightly, and looks up to the right. She is a white woman with light skin tone with freckles, light brown curly hair pulled back, and wears pearl cat eye glasses.

Ellen Bull is a multimedia fiber artist. She works as a costume designer, scenic designer, scenic painter, and puppet maker in theater and film. She enjoys growing vegetables and playing board games. In 2021, she was accepted to be part of the 2021 Visual Arts Residency at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, where she created the exhibition More Yolks, Less Folks.

I draw inspiration from our interwoven communities as humans, our smallest cells mirroring the great expanse of cosmic constellations.”
