Ellen Bull is a multimedia fiber artist. She works as a costume designer, scenic designer, scenic painter, and puppet maker in theater and film. She enjoys growing vegetables and playing board games. In 2021, she was accepted to be part of the 2021 Visual Arts Residency at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, where she created the exhibition More Yolks, Less Folks.

I’ve been considering ideas of comfort food, of the abundance that we make, the importance of joy and whimsy, our interconnectedness, and the tradition and tactile histories of handcrafts. I draw inspiration from our interwoven communities as humans, our smallest cells mirroring the great expanse of cosmic constellations.”
