As the Research Assistant for the Joan Mitchell Catalogue Raisonné, Christina de Gersdorff assists with fact-checking, data entry, and cataloging of Joan Mitchell’s paintings. Before joining the team, she was the Assistant Program Director at The Royal Oak Foundation.

Previously, Christina worked as a Junior Specialist in the Impressionist and Modern Art Department and then in the American Art Department at Christie's, where she was responsible for researching and cataloguing works of art. Before Christie’s, Christina spent three years working with an independent art advisor, specializing in modern and contemporary art collections.

Christina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and German from Union College and a Master’s degree in Art History with a focus on American Modern Art from Hunter College (CUNY).
